Chili Cheese Daawggggggs

Has everyone seen the clip of the little kid asking “ can I pet that dawgggggg"?” If you havent, look no further I posted it below. It is the cutest thing you will ever see. Well every time I say chili cheese dawwgggg I say it like this cute little nugget boy. These dawgs are so freaking good, the buns are from Kings Hawaiian, so you have sweetness and salty spicy goodness plus a tad bit of smoke taste from the grilled dawgggs. I cant wait for everyone to make these! Game changer.

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp ground red pepper

1/2 tsp oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbs chili powder

1 tsp cumin

2 tsp masa corn flour

1 cup water

1 cup beef broth

1 tsp minced garlic

1 lb ground beef

1 half yellow onion

1 can chili diced tomatoes (drained)

1 can rotel (blended)

1 8 oz can tomato sauce

1 jalapeno, diced

1 can hot chili beans (optional)

Yellow mustard (optional)

1 package ball park franks

1 bag of Kings Hawaiian hot dog buns

1/2 Block of mild cheddar cheese (cut into this slices

Directions:

Heat a pot on medium heat with a tbls butter, garlic, jalapeno and onion. Once cooked until translucent (about 4 min) add the ground beef. Cook until completely browned, no pink. Pour in seasonings (cumin, oregano, chili powder, garlic powder), tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beans (optional), water, and beef broth. Reduce heat to simmer, cover with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove lid and simmer for 30 more minutes. Grill the dogs on a grill or you can put them in the oven if you don’t own a grill. Stick a slice of cheddar cheese in each bun and if you are using mustard, add this in each bun as well. Once the dogs are done grilling add one to each bun and cover with chili and more cheese. Serve with fries or chips and a cold beer!
