Gift Guide For The Cook 1. Anthropologie, Double Oven Mitt- I love a good oven mitt. Pastels or deep earth tones are my jam. Anthropologie has all of your oven mitt needs. This would be a super cute gift to give stuff with maybe a bottle of Brightland Olive oil (see below) and tied off with a cute velvet ribbon!2. Brightland, Olive Oil Duo- My all time favorite olive oil. I wish I could drip it all over my body and have William lick it off. too bad he’s not into that. It is good with toasted garlic bread or drizzled atop burrata and fresh tomatoes. I like to use it for some of my salad dressings as well. They have the 2 pack for gifts and it is packaged super cute and you can even purchase their gold nozzle with it to make the gift over the top perfect. 3. Williams Sonoma, Calphalon Roasting Pan- I actually do not own this exact pan but I love it. Love the matte black. Love the brand Calphalon and will be purchasing it when I get more cabinet space. I only have room for one roasting pan at the moment…those things are big. You don’t have to use the pan just for roasting a turkey, it can be used for tons of other meals and is big enough to fit a meat and veggies or a meat and potatoes. Use one pan, clean less dishes. 4. Anthropologie, Terazzo Molcajete and Tejolote- Mexican version of a mortar and pestle. The terrazzo design is super cute and would be perfect paired with the avocado pitter and slicer below. Wrap that shit in a bow and be done. 5. Thermoclad Stainless Steel Steamer- If you don’t have a steamer…you should. The most simple cook needs a steamer. You can steam veggies, crab legs and even dumplings in this thing! 6. Microplane Rasp and Zester- Hell ZEST! I am super into the zester vibe. I even “zest “ my parmesan because I like how fine it makes it. If you own a zester, you a are a true goodess of the kitchen :) This would be cute in a small basket with the Olive oil, fresh limes and the Molcajete above! 7. Le Creuset 8 piece Bakeware Set- I LOVE everything in this set. I have all of them and they all get used at least once a week. Obvi not everyone is like me and cooks a shit ton of food every night but you could get someone any one of these bakers and they would love it. I have them in a cream color but I really like this grey. I am not really a bright color kind of girl so I usually go for a neutral color when it comes to my casserole bakers.8. Williams Sonoma, Avocado Slicer and Pitter- You a basic ass bitch and love a good avocado toast? Yeah, same. Well this will make your life 10x easier. No more green avocado shit all over your hands and counter. It pits it and slices it in a matter of seconds. This would be great for a healthy hoe that likes to take insta pics of her avo toast in front of a fire or next to her coffee. 9. Anthropologie, Laguiole Knife Set- I am all about a good set of steak knives. Good ass knifes plus the shaft of the knife is like a mother of pearl color. Not sure if its called the shaft but I like that word so that’s what we are calling it….10. Goop, Cast Iron Seasoning Oil- I use my cast iron almost every day. So about once a week I give it a good rub down and scrub with this stuff. It gets all the stuck on food and left over by your water/salt clean. you do usually. This is a perfect gift wrapped together with a Lodge Cast Iron, and they aren’t expensive at all! I think they are about $35 dollars!11. Williams Sonoma, Le Creuset Skinny Grill- I own this in a pale yellow and absolutely cherish it. It is the perfect size for my stovetop and also perfect for veggies, grilled cheeses or even steaks! It is a tad bit expensive so give it to someone you like a lot. Ain’t nobody got time to spend a shit ton of money on your great aunt Edith. Katy DavisonNovember 30, 2020Comment 0 Likes
