Watermelon Jalapeño Ranch Water

I decided to start posting about different unique cocktails that I think everyone would enjoy. I like to play around with all the different herbs and flowers from my garden and incorporate them into my drinks. Two things I love the most in life…drinking and gardening. Not only are flowers pretty and bring color to my pictures but they also can serve as a flavor in your drink. Some flowers obviously aren’t meant to be eaten but there are tons of plants, flowers and different botanicals that many people are not aware of that can be digested! This drink is very simple but is perfect for this hot ass weather outside. Its refreshing and is destined to always be a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:

3 cups cubed Watermelon

1 cup gold Tequila

1/2 small can Perrier

Juice of 2 Limes

1 Jalapeño (sliced)

Mint for garnish

Flaky Salt- for rim of glass

Directions:

Cut watermelon and remove rine and cube. Add to blender and puree until smooth. Pour watermelon through a strainer and have something to catch the watermelon juice while being poured through. Add watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, jalapeños and Perrier to a chilled shaker. Shake, shake, shake! Salt a rocks glass, pour mixture over ice and add a skewer of cubed watermelon, mint and jalapeño for garnish! Enjoy and drink responsibly!
