Chocolate Chunk Cookies

As you can see throughout my post, I do not care much about healthy recipes, and this one isn’t any different. It has all the elements you want in a cookie. Sweet, gooey, moist and a tad bit salty. Dunk this in a cold glass of whole milk and you can die happy.

Ingredients:

4 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups brown sugar

1 1/2 cups butter (softened)

2 eggs

Dash of salt

1 bag of chocolate chunks

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Dash of sea salt

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar. In your stand mixer or using a hand mixer and a bowl, mix together the butter and brown sugar until fully incorporated. Stir in vanilla. Slowly pour in flour mixture, with the mixer turning the whole time. You may have to stop the mixing and scrap the sides in between. Once fully mixed together, using a spatula, fold in the chocolate chunks. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and using a cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt and put in oven. Bake for 10 min and let cool about 10 min. Serve with a cold glass of milk!
