July Favorite Things
This is my first post for ‘My Favorite Things’ section of this website. I have a lot of people asking me where I get some of the stuff that is featured on my instagram stories so I thought this would help. I will be posting skincare products, cooking and kitchen essentials, activewear and lots of interior design items, once a month!
Mohave Ghost Body Lotion, by Byredo. It is actually the best smell I have ever smelled in my whole life. It is on the more expensive side, so I don’t use it as an everyday lotion. Just for special occasions. I have never wore it and not gotten a compliment. Its like you bottled up fairies, rainbows and an English cottage and bottled it up to make this heavenly concoction. Healthish WB-1 Water bottle. It is amazing! And it looks chic as hell with a gold screw top. I am really bad about drinking water. I hate peeing all the time and I just honestly never crave it. Thats probably why I have to get botox in my forehead, i’m dehydrated as hell. It has the times of day marked on the side of the bottle and lets you know when to refill. Fleischer and Wolf Cookware- I wanted a combo of stainless steel and gold for my new kitchen, so these were absolutely perfect. The only thing is you have to hand wash them with Barkeeps Friend to make them look like they just came out of the box. We don’t mind though because they are so cool and plus we display them from a pots and pans rack so we want them to be super clean. Buy Here or at your nearest Crate and Barrel Store.
Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress. This dress is literally the only thing I ever wear…. I work from home so I literally wake up, put this dress on with Hoka Tennis Shoes or Chacos and start my day. I have it in bright orange, black, light pink and lime green. It is so cute, you can work out in it or run errands in it. It has built in shorts, so panties aren’t required and it makes you look skinny. I mean how could you go wrong? Buy Here
Behr Orange Flambé- This paint is what I used in my dining room. I got them to even paint the ceiling with this color. It is soooooo cool and just pops when you walk in. I honestly wish I could bathe in it. This palette in general is just great. You could buy even a color a tad bit lighter or a smidge darker and it would still look awesome. Buy Here
Glossier, Super Glow- It is spectacular. I do get botox in my forehead, as mentioned above but because of the Pandemic I wasn’t able to get it regularly. With a mixture of Glossier, Super Bounce and my moisturizer I was saved. I didn’t look like a wrinkly old ball-sack at the end of quarantine, which I am grateful for. Buy Here
Lodge, Cast Iron 12” Skillet- The only skillet I ever use. I literally have to force myself to use my other kitchen items. Not that the other stuff isn’t amazing, I just have had this particular skillet for about 10 years, and it is perfectly seasoned and perfectly sized. I think every human on earth with a kitchen should own this skillet. If you don’t have anything else, and you could pick one thing, this is it. Buy Here
Staub Round Dutch Oven- Making Dinner Great Again. It is perfect for soups, bread, meats, vegetables. Basically, everyone needs a dutch oven. Buy Here
Lala Retro Whipped Creme- My favorite part about this moisturizer, besides it feeding my ultra thirsty skin, is the pump. OMG, the pump is freaking awesome. It pumps out the perfect amount for your face and neck. It last forever because you don’t need much when applying. Buy Here
Marble French Kitchen Salt Cellar- This is the kitchen accessory I use EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have course Kosher Salt in mine because I don’t use regular salt, but it can be for anything. You could even use it for your sugar next to your coffee machine. Its super astetically pleasing so it looks good with any kitchen style. Buy Here
Climbing Roses- I have these planted all over my yard. Front and Back. I have an obsession. They are beautiful and smell so delicious. I got mine from Waltons Garden Center, in Dallas but Lowes or Home Depot also carry them. You can’t go wrong having these in your yard. Buy Here
